OBJECTIVE

To find an entrepreneurial sales position

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Tire Hub (08/30/19 to 01/18/20)

Customer Engagement Specialist

Tire Hub is a year old company that was formed as a joint venture between Goodyear and

Bridgestone/Firestone. They are an excellent company to work for and my direct supervisor

could not have been better to me. However, in as much as I am used to some office days, I

was never tethered to a desk and phone all day every day. After a month I knew this was not

for me and tendered my resignation, but at the request of my supervisor to give it a few

more weeks I did. I have now separated from Tire Hub and am ready to pursue my first love

of an Outside Sale Position.

AFA Industries (05/2017 to 07/12/19)

Territory Sales Manager

AFA Industries is a manufacturer of internal diesel parts for the commercial vehicle market.

I did like and enjoy working with everyone at AFA Industries, the Aboufawaz family are

exceptionally good people to work for. I worked directly with Anthony Aboufawaz the

president of the company. Tony and I worked well together and become very close friends,

this was a very hard departure. However, with my responsibility of twenty-one states, I was

traveling every week, nearly all week. As much as I did enjoy working and meeting people,

so much travel was taking a toll on me as I was used to traveling 3-4 states. So, after a great

deal of thought and prayers I turned in my resignation to AFA and began actively looking for

a new sales position with less travel, maybe a tri-state area. This is in no way meant to

complain or shed any bad light on anything or anybody; it’s only meant to honestly explain

my reasoning for exploring new opportunities when by all accounts and appearances

everything should be fine at AFA.

Reline Centers of America (01/2016 to 02/2017)

Outside Sales / DOT Training

I very much enjoyed my position with Reline Centers of America in spite of the extensive

travel, as I had responsibility for nine states. I divided my efforts between calling on Mack

and Navistar Dealers and other established accounts, doing brake training as a part of the

DOT Brake Certification required to work on commercial vehicles and prospecting new

accounts. Reline Centers of America did not have a good 2016 due to the loss of a large

amount of business. I was informed that a reduction was necessary in the office and sales

departments. So, by being the last of the sales force hired I was dismissed. I would invite

anyone to contact my supervisor Bill Rayball at Reline Centers of America as to the quality

of my work with the company.

KOI / Fisher Auto Parts (03/2015 to 01/2016)

Outside / Inside Sales

I left Advance Auto Parts to find a position to better use my outside sales experience.

I was hired by John Minke to work two days Inside Sales and three days Outside Sales to

develop new accounts until my position could be filled inside as they were short-handed

there. I had no problems there and they were good folks to work for. However, I was

approached by one of my old supervisors from Federal-Mogul to join his team at Reline

Centers of America so I did.

Advance Auto Parts (09/2014 to 03/2015)

Assistant Store Manager

Following the successful sale of my business, I still wanted to be productive in the

work place and with having a good business rapport with Advance Auto Parts through

F-M Corp I approached them for a part time position. After starting, I was asked to take the

National Brain Bench Test to assess my overall automotive knowledge. My score was

in the top 97.6 percentile in the nation. The Store Manager and I worked well together so

he asked me to become the Assistant Store Manager. In as much as I did enjoy working

with the Advance people, I have always been a self-starter and have enjoyed doing outside

sales so when I was approached by KOI / Fisher Auto Parts with that opportunity I left.

Crawford County Tractor Parts, LLC. (2010 to 09/2014)

Owner/Manager

As the business became very successful I later divested myself of large percentage

of it and became a silent partner for a short time. As of September 2014 I

completely divested all my interest there to pursue other interests.

Federal-Mogul Corporation, Southfield, MI (1991 to 2010)

Territory Manager

In my 19 year tenure with Federal-Mogul I was privileged to wear several hats. All my time was spent in the field with the customer base in either sales, problem solving, or technical training for their employees. Federal-Mogul is a worldwide supplier of automotive parts with some of the most recognized names in the industry. I was one of eleven managers in the US and Canada that worked on the Commercial Vehicle (trucks and industrial equipment) side of the business and one of four that worked with diesel engine customers. With the general commercial vehicle customers I was responsible for six states. On the heavy duty engine side I covered everything east of the Mississippi River. Although my primary responsibility was customer sales, due to the inherit nature of some of the diesel engines with parts failures, I spent a great deal of time solving engine failure problems both with the customers and Federal-Mogul. Some of the claims were quite high in dollar value ($5 to 20K) but I was always able to make some sort of equitable resolution for both my customer and my company. In the fall of 2010 Federal-Mogul offered an early retirement package to their employees and I accepted it. With no real desire to fully retire, I began thinking of some sort of niche market to start a business. With the business climate being the worst since the Great Depression I felt it had to be as much of a needed business as a niche market. So knowing Crawford County being a very rural county with many farm tractors and no close place to purchase repair parts I established Crawford County Tractor Parts to fill that void; and as they say,’ the rest is history’.

Respectfully,
