Work Experience And Interests:

P.G and Senior Resident: My postgraduate training was well structured and intensive at K.M.C. Mangalore, immediately after postgraduation I started work as Senior Resident in the same institute. During these years I worked in both government and private hospitals and had good exposure to trauma and other cases including Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy.

My goals were, learn to be comfortable in decision making and handling the responsibility of and caring for and treating patients, to become familiar with a wide range of cases especially Trauma, Arthoplasty and Arthroscopy, and to be familiarised with all the approaches and comfortable handling bone, soft tissues, implants and instruments. At this institute I had the opportunity to achieve my goals and to learn and develop my skills. Have done various trauma cases (closed and open) including complex trauma and hemiarthroplasy of the hip. Have assisted Arthroplasty(Knee, Hip) and Arthroscopic(Knee, Shoulder, Hip) Surgeries and familiar with the procedures, instruments and implants.

Fellowship in Sakra: during the fellowship I have assisted and performend Hip and Knee Arthroplasty and, Knee and Shoulder Arthroscopy. This allowed me to improve my knowledge in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy and be able to make decisions regarding patient care and surgical procedures and protocols in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy. Fellowship in KIMS: this was a fellowship in advanced arthroplasty, where I had the opportunity to assist and perform under supervision as well as independently, Knee and Hip Arthroplasty cases including Revision surgeries.
