JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor day to day operations for compliance with established safety, sanitation and product movement procedures, and communicates any related information to employees;
Supervising the receiving, storing, picking and shipping operations to ensure maximum efficiency and space utilization.
Ensure standards of productivity are established and followed; monitors receiving process to ensure safety and sanitation standards compliance.
Implementing all related company policies and procedures on ground for quality standards of good housekeeping, preventive maintenance, personal hygiene, stock rotation (First Expiry First Out), cleaning procedures, labelling, traceability and product recall procedures.
Ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
Solve day to day operational problems on a first-line basis.
Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.
Emphasize on Safe food handling and good storage practices for Frozen, Chilled and Ambient Products.
Monitors the Warehouse team’s performance standards and guides them to achieve their KPIs.

Coordinating the scheduling of trucks for shipment of product to ensure the timely filling of all orders.

Emphasize the areas of good personal hygiene, hand washing, practicing oral cleaning, hand sanitizer, shaving, showering and hygienic habits of employees during working.
Supervise on Manual Handling activities like lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, carrying etc. and avoid all injuries at work are caused by accidents during manual handling.
Monitors on HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) control from receipt of product, storage to dispatch of products.
Ensure safety, security, quality, HACCP and food safety in all processes managed.
Report all incidents, of any nature and however caused, to the Warehouse Manager for completing all necessary documentation promptly and accurately.
Complete necessary paperwork relating to distribution centre operations to support management reviews.
Maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Prepare and forward the Local Purchase Order against the very low priced quotations with authorized Signature.
As per the Terms & Conditions specified in LPO, will be the delivery of materials and payment to the suppliers.
Confirm the Shortage, Overage and Damage at the time of the delivery of materials.
