Colleague 2 Colleague 2015 – 2018

Colleague to Colleague (C2C), a chartered professional organization, is designed to facilitate the exchange of information and expertise between faculty and staff involved or interested in instructional technology, online instruction, and distance education. The organization’s primary focus is on staff development and collaboration between the community colleges, technical colleges, and universities in the Kansas and Missouri bi-state region. Each year in late July, early August, C2C holds a conference for its 1200 members called SIDLIT (Summer Institute of Distance Learning and Instructional Technology). C2C also has a bi-monthly newsletter along with a strong social media following. The conference, newsletter, and all social media are handled by volunteers on sub-committees and approved by the Chairperson.

Chairperson, 2017-2018

Managed all sub-committees and was in charge of facilitating all monthly meetings. Accountable for managing and hosting SIDLIT and overseeing C2C’s budget.

●Helped create and pass the first Colleague 2 Colleague official by-laws.

●Increased budget by 12% over last year by reducing vendor costs.
