BillSplitor { IOS App

Description: This app can give user a easy way to split a bill, especially when user cannot evenly split the bill.

Front End: Implemented app’s views by using newly released SwiftUI. SwiftUI is a new tech to develope IOS app released in June, 2019. I walked through the whole development process of SwiftUI and explored a standard process of developing a single view.

Back End: Stored user’s data locally by using Realm Database. Although SwiftUI is not compatible with Realm databese for now, I still successfully found a way to creat, read, update and delete data in SwiftUI.

Future Improvements: Synchronize user’s data to cloud so that user can view the history data from di erent devices. Operating System - Class Projects

Keyboard Driver: Implemented a simple keyboard driver in Linux. It supports shift, capslock and backspace.

Simple Thread Scheduler: Implemented a simple thread scheduler using Round Robin strategy. It decides which thread to run and switch the machine state for thread.

Monster-Related Design: Designed the monster’s numerical attributes such as health points, attack points. I use Excel to manage the data model, so I can change my design by only changing my input and the Excel will automatically give me new results. Also, my data model is split into small modules, so I can check and update my module quickly when new requirements appear.

Resource-Related Design: Planned and balanced the production and consumption of resources in the game,such as the count of gold coin that single player can gain. Generally it’s hard to design a real economy system, but I successfully designed a simple and relative perfect system by only adding some restrictions in game.

Character Skill Design: Responsible for the design and balance of skill damage; Designed the calculation logic of di erent character. I designed the damage calculate process and the data module. After several experiment, characters’ is balanced in most cases.

Design the tutorial dungeon: Designed the tutorial dungeon for new players to show the basic rule of game. In my design, players can not only learn how to play the game, but also have a chance to glance the most attractive part of my game. The feedback is positive, 10% more players logged in game at second day.

Design Basic Game System: Designed the basic function system (like chat funtion) in game and track its development progress. Responsible for coordinating and solving problems met in real development.
