•Digital Transformation: Led a three-year $60 million process improvement program to modernize all Merchandising systems and enable enterprise-wide Omni Channel Merchandising Planning and Execution process improvements and automation. Implemented mobile components to transform merchant processes in market activities and improve engagement. Developed new analytics tools to leverage the new sources of data and powerful visualization to liberate the data and expose it to the business in new actionable ways. Leveraged Tibco technologies and Exadata in-memory solutions to create real-time views of inventory, sales, and other key metrics to drive the health of the business.

•Analytics Transformation: Implemented $3 million program to replace legacy custom reporting applications with Cognos suite as a go-forward merchant reporting and analytics platform to reduce ongoing maintenance costs by 25% and accelerate delivery cycles by 20%. Developed a new hybrid Agile and Lean process targeted at the unique capabilities of this new platform and the need to iteratively develop against evolving technical requirements to quickly deliver incremental value to the business.

•Enterprise Program Management: Led Enterprise Program Office and Financial Governance for $200 MM annual development budget across all business units. Developed and implemented Program and Project models for Waterfall, Lean, and Agile methodologies.

•Business Value: Led $25 million development effort for a new Rewards program to drive customer retention, customer engagement, and growth. Improved retention rates by 10% in the first year of execution. Leveraged this funded initiative to build an in-house “customer cloud platform” that would support consistent customer-facing experiences across point of sale, web, and mobile devices and promote re-use. Leveraged TIBCO tools to enable real-time customer intelligence.

•Turn Around Programs: Drove recovery effort for troubled three + year $45 million custom development program for Advertising Business Office to support the business transformation to one standard advertising process across all divisions. Repaired damaged business partnerships. Reverse engineered technical requirements and developed new software lifecycle and quality assurance processes to speed delivery. Stabilized the system, developed an incremental delivery approach to minimize risk and rolled out to all divisions in 2 years.

•ERP Implementations: Completed $25 million cloud implementation of Oracle E-business Facilities Management, Asset Management, General ledger, Expense Payables, and Contracts. Led $20 million SAP ERP (FMS) program for Macy’s Private Brands. Managed sourcing strategy for external partners for requirements and implementation
