TEC Systems is a leading NYC Building Controls and Automation Contracting Firm. They create and maintain controls on the largest buildings in the city such as the Museum of Natural History and the MoMA

• Simulated over 1 million data point building systems to gather sample data points and test control code in various programmed scenarios such as emergencies

• Setup type 1 hypervisors with Microsoft Server 2012 Hyper V to serve as test benches for controller’s data gathering nodes

• Utilized Niagara to gather backups from controllers and diagnose errors using simulated data generated from virtual BACnet points

• Established version-controlled backup database of old Niagara systems still in service

• Created large excel data sheets with over 1 million points from Niagara 4 and utilized Python 3 to analyze the data and look for inconsistencies in point names and settings

• Structured and tested efficient scalable offsite data backup solutions for buildings up to 1 million data points on low end Celeron processors to account for older technology found in some buildings Autonomous Mastery Prototyping Lab at Virginia Tech September 2018 - Present
