Held Top Secret clearance during for entire Naval career and a Secret clearance while employed with Boeing.

Satellite Communications Branch Head, briefed Commanders of Pacific, Atlantic, and European Commands on availability of satellite transponder assets. Petitioned the Chief of Naval Operations for funding to contract satellite assets to increase bandwidth for the afloat navy.

Led the P-8 Technical Interchange meeting for Australian anti-submarine variant as facilitator between the US Navy and the Australian Navy to deliver new capabilities to aircraft being purchased from Boeing and the US government and to ensure compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Presented the Boeing Phantom Works Radio Frequency Identification research to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), comprising approximately 10 officers from all branches of the US military.

Selected to write and present the Concept of Operations for the Indian Navy Logistics and Training as part of the support package negotiated with the purchase of P-8 Anti-Submarine Warfare aircraft. Wrote and presented the Concept of Operations for the Wedge-Tail Anti-Air Warfare aircraft on the use of wideband satellite communication for the Australian Air Force.

Resolved a critical outage issue affecting the Connexion by Boeing program’s maritime antenna. Analyzed signal strength data, reengineered antenna placement, and generated antenna patterns to inform ship’s crew when superstructure would block satellite. Detailed root cause analysis and corrective actions resulted in 95% availability of 24/7 system.

Began naval career as an enlisted man, was selected for the Broadened Opportunities for Officer Selection and Training (BOOST) program, and completed a 20 year career as a Lieutenant Commander.
