SKILLS

I am trained in physical, document, and installation security. I was trained in the United States Army as a Counterintelligence specialist, chemical operations use and protection specialist, and section supervisor. I am familiar with chemical monitoring equipment and protection measures. I am also trained in equipment maintenance management and parts acquisition and inventory. I am familiar with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

EXPERIENCE

From December 2013 to present: employed as a Security Guard at the Pueblo Chemical Depot (PCD) Security and Law Enforcement Division, in Pueblo, Colorado. My responsibilities include physical security of the PCD chemical munitions stockpile by use of area patrols, installation entrance regulation, rapid threat response, and chemical site monitoring. My immediate supervisor is Lieutenant Vernon Furlow, who can be contacted at 719-***-****.

From October 2009 to December 2013, I was retired.

From April 2005 to October 2009, I was employed as a Security Guard at PCD where my duties included physical security, installation security, vehicle and personnel access, and traffic control. My immediate supervisor was Captain Verne Jaramillo.

From February 2000 to April 2005, I was employed at Gobin's Business Solutions, in Pueblo, Colorado. My duties included repair and maintenance of customer’s business machines (copy machines, FAX machines, printers), at the customer’s business location. I was responsible for scheduled maintenance, parts requisition, and inventory. My Supervisor was Ken Spinuzzi.

From December 1999 to February 2000, I was unemployed.

From December 1984 to December 2000, I was in the United States Army where I attained the rank of Sergeant First Class. My duties included the supervision of civilian and military intelligence personnel, development and implementation of military operations, and protection and dissemination of intelligence information and operations.

EDUCATION

I attended the University of Southern Colorado, in Pueblo, Colorado, in 1981 and 1982, where I majored in Civil Engineering. I did not obtain a degree.

I graduated from Pueblo South High School, Pueblo, Colorado in 1973.

While in the military, I completed three military leadership schools, the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course (NCO), and the Advanced NCO Course. I completed the Army Master Loader Course, Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Training Course, Master Drivers Course, Ground Surveillance Radar Course, and the Counterintelligence Training Course. I obtained a Secondary Military Occupation Specialty as Maintenance Management Specialist.

AWARDS AND COMMENDATIONS

While in the military, I received two Meritorious Service Medals, three Army Commendation Medals, and four Good Conduct Medals.

I am a member of the Army’s prestigious Audie Murphy Club which recognizes NCO's for outstanding leadership and professional expertise.

I received the Army's Knowleton Award which is presented to Army Military Intelligence professionals.
