Project Highlights:

This project involves migration of purchase order creations in JC Penney from legacy application (POM) to Oracle RMS.

Over 150 applications got interfaced with POM legacy application which got replaced with Oracle RMS.

RAC provides new and used brand-named furniture, appliances, computers and electronics from brands, such as Ashley Furniture, Sony, Toshiba, Whirlpool Corporation, Dell and HP. As part of their rent-to-own business model, Rent-A-Center generally makes its items available with no down payments or long-term obligations. Customers can return an item at any time, for any reason, without penalty and have the option to re-rent the same item and pick up the payments where they left off. Delivery, pick-up, service and repair are also included in the stated rental price. Customers can also upgrade items while they are renting—the payments will change accordingly.

Project Highlights:

The agile team is responsible for supporting RMS Application and a custom automated store replenishment solution application. The team takes care of all new projects that are coming in based on business needs.

Project Highlights:

JC Penney was implementing a complete, open and integrated suite of Oracle Retail solutions to streamline operations and improve the cross-channel customer experience as the company transforms its retail operations. As part of implementation of ORMS 13.2 there were 3 tracks that were going on in parallel. One was the PO, ReSA and the Item.

The RMS Base application, in conjunction with various customized screens and forms was used to set up and maintain items, including conceptual, for stores and eComm. This includes setting up: attributes of an item, item cost and retail price, supplier and ship point/sites for an item, SKUs, UPCs, Seasons, Floor set dates and ticketing information. The item information will be stored in the RMS Oracle database, and once approved, will be used by legacy systems.

Project Highlights

Project 1: ORMS QA for OMS

Abercrombie & Fitch was using Oracle Retail Merchandising System (Ver. 13.0.1) to support core merchandizing operations. The existing QA environment was used for Production change requests and other ongoing projects. AnF was implementing a new Order Management System which would require an entire new QA2 environment across all systems. Since the existing test environment was used for all running projects and does not want to have a conflict on OMS Project testing under the same environment.

Project 2: UAE DC

Abercrombie & Fitch was opening a new DC in UAE. The new DC, system and processes will facilitate store expansion and the management of Domestic and International Supply Chain

Processes.

This project enables efficient replenishment and supply chain activity supporting international expansion in Asia.UAE DC and Store replenishment can be done by UAE DC PO or from other international DCs inventory transfer. Merch type restrictions and modifications are given especially to the UAE related skus like Pig Leather,etc. UAE DC is operated by 3PL Aramex, DC transactions will be communicated by 3PL via ESB to RMS system

Project 3: ATLAS Price Execution Automation

ATLAS Price execution automation project is developed to achieve cost savings by reducing the amount of labor hours spent manually exporting data from SWIFT, manually transforming data, and manually imputing data into RMS. This project is implemented to avoid Legal and Compliance Risks by electronically establishing a timestamp acknowledgement of pricing data review. The scope of this project includes integrating pricing data to RMS, manage multiple price sets, ability to automatically end obsolete promos.

Project 4: RMS Automation – Phase 1

RMS Automation project - Every new DC rollout will take considerable amount of time for Supply Chain Transaction process testing. Here comes the importance of Automation project where key scenarios for Supply Chain applications can be automated and thereby reduce the time to market for the new DC rollouts. This project was planned as three Phases where Phase 1 is planned for automating regression scenarios of RMS and in Phase 2 automating SIMS and RDM.

Performed end to end QA activities including requirement analysis, test case preparation and execution, bug reporting and tracking and thereby successfully completed all the projects

Project Description: ADESA provides a simple and efficient way for dealers to return (ground) the leased vehicles and buy the grounded vehicles or it can go for internal and live auction based on the vehicle’s return status. A user can bid or buy the grounded vehicle. The system will send outbid, winner and other mails to the users and other configured mail ids. User and dealer can view different types of reports regarding their activities.

This project includes software quality assurance activities for ADESA US/Canada Retail websites for Nissan, Infinity, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Lexus and ADESA.com which includes web and extensive database testing and application support.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for defining and implementing test strategy and test planning for all assigned projects.

Project Description: This was a SharePoint deployment which made the company organize its data and collaborate between offices spread across 8 countries. The problem in front of the organization was to capture the knowledge residing in their associates' mailboxes. Desktops/laptops, file servers, disparate systems etc, which was making it impossible to retrieve and use the data when required. Once the owner of some crucial data leaves the organization the new employees had a difficult time getting up-to-speed on their teams. And as a result the information was cluttered, inconsistent and undependable. From an IT team's standpoint, information archival in this kind of a situation is near impossible and the company ended up spending a great deal of money on information retention mechanisms. On the other hand the UST Global has presence in over 8 countries, which made it very important to collaborate and share information in a real-time manner. And to resolve all these issues, an intranet portal using SharePoint is deployed.

Project Description: WellPoint is one of the largest publicly traded health care companies serving the needs of 34 million medical members in US. The project (Enterprise Customer Care Desktop) provides a customer care desktop where the medically insured customers can retrieve their information regarding the benefit details available to them. Technically, Enterprise Customer Care Desktop takes the input in the form of XML and based on the input, it produces the output in the form of XML, retrieving the data from the database, describing the product mentioned in the input. This is related to the Insurance to help the customer care executive to provide the information to customer base on their product id.
