The Experience includes:

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING: Supervised groups of Mechanical Engineers. Prepared Bid packages for EPC contractors with +/- 10 to 20 % Cost estimate for clients like ExxonMobil, BP, Dow Chemical, Marathon, SABIC, Saudi ARAMCO, Occidental, CPChem. The process included Man hour Estimate and Control, Interactive Planning, Mechanical Datasheet, Equipment selection and Design, Material Requisitioning, Bid Evaluation and Purchasing, Cost Estimate and Construction Support.

Provided complete in-plant reliability engineering coverage to plant equipment. Performed engineering evaluations for FFS of inspection findings of Plant equipment; prepared repair procedures, drawings and specifications. Worked through MOC and SAP.

Engineering support to plant operations and maintenance. Preparation of P&IDs, Plot Plans, Piping Plans, Construction drawings, Bill of Materials and Specifications with Installation support. Identified and prepared design packages for expense projects; Used CodeCalc, COMPRESS & CAESAR II;

PIPING: Design of Piping Systems (Piping Design Package). Material selection, sizing, layout and Stress analysis (CAESAR II); Fabrication, Installation & Inspection support; Specialty items specifying and requisitioning. Metallurgy and welding support.

PROJECT ENGINEERING:

New projects, Modification and Addition projects for chemical plants and refineries right from the concept to completion stage. Preparation of complete Design Packages including Work Scope, Specifications, P&IDs, Modeling, Plot Plans, Drawings for Piping systems, Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Storage tanks, Electrical, Instrumentation and civil works as necessary; Procurement of long lead items; Involvement in bid package preparation, bid evaluation, and construction management. To endeavor to successfully complete the project on-time and on-budget through all the stages by good budgeting, planning, scheduling and good management through coordination of all disciplines.

Aug 2006 – Aug 2016: JACOBS ENGINEERING GROUP (JEG):

Worked for Mechanical Engineering/Project Engineering for various stages of project (Select, FEED and Execution) for Gas Plants, Refineries and Chemical Plants. Participated in Manhour Estimate and Control, Interactive Planning, Worked on Mechanical Datasheet, Equipment selection and Design, Material Requisitioning, Cost Estimate and BID Package preparation for EPC contractor.

Representative assignments include:

Shell TIGER AO4, Geismar, LA. Addition of a new Linear Alpha Olefins (LAO) unit at the Geismar Chemical Plant using Shell Technology. Size: 325 kta Reaction Section and 425 kta Distillation Train (upsized by 100 kta). Provided Design, Requisition and Purchase support for 12 Process columns with internals. Reviewed and approved Vendor Documents. Held progress and coordination meetings and close vendor interface.

Jacobs Alliance Group (JAG), Baton Rouge, LA. Handled Small projects belonging to Exxon Mobil Refinery and Chemical plant valued between $500 thousand to $10 million

BP TCC Propylene Concentration Unit Restart project. ATen year Mothballed unit was planned to restart. Refurbishment and replacement of stationary and rotating equipment (One booster Compressor, Recip., and one propylene compressor,centrifugal, per inspection recommendations.

Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT), Western Refining Company (WNR), EL Paso, Texas. IPMT team consisted of engineers from WRN and Jacobs. WNR had awarded phase FEL3 of Crude Expansion Project to Wood Group Mustang (WGM) at their Houston Office. As a member of IPMT reviewed, checked, and approved project documents including New off Gas Dry Screw Compr.

Diesel Optimization Project, Hydro-cracker Unit (HCU), Marathon, Garyville, Louisiana. Scope included detailed engineering and procurement phase (Phase 4). It consisted of revamp of HCU unit covering addition of new equipment and modification of existing equipment. Equipment included API 610 centrifugal pumps, recycle gas (H2) centrifugal compressor, treat gas heater, high

Pressure/temperature shell and tube exchangers, air cooled condensers, reactors and filters.

Nylon 6,6 Plant, CP Chem, Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Scope included design / bid packages and procurement for about ten plastic conversion facilities consisting of pipes, fittings, auto parts, medical parts, bottles, covers etc. (Phases 3 and 4). Cost estimates of equipment for all the units, silos, de-aerators, pressure vessels, storage tanks, automatic and cartridge filters, and some package units.

Clean Fuels and Aromatics Project, Ras Tanura, Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities included helping Aramco in the scoping of FEED package.

Slug Catcher (harp type) Capacity Addition Study, Mississippi Canyon Gathering System, Enbridge (Mid-stream).

Gas Plant Project (Mid-stream), Occidental Elk Hills, California. A six week fast track project requiring 10% cost estimate; prepared fast design and RFQ and obtained urgent prices for propane, butane storage bullets, storage spheres and tanks, Air Assisted Flare System.

Ras Tanura Integrated Project (RTIP), Epoxy Envelope. Scope consisted of Cumene, Phenol, Bisphenol, Liquid Epoxy Resin, Converted Epoxy Resin units and shared services unit; FEED Phase preparation and checking of Pressure Vessel (columns and drums) calculations, datasheets and Request for Quotations (RFQ).

Saudi Elastomers Project, Halo butyl Unit, Kemya, Al-Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. FEED phase project; 10% cost estimate and an ITB package for EPC contract; involved in the development of Mechanical Datasheet, design, calculations, drawings, RFQ preparation (Inquiry package), and bid tabulation of about 10 towers, 51 drums, 17 tanks, and 3 reactors of various sizes and metallurgy. The reactors were ExxonMobil Intellectual property and involved high technology and special material.

Cabana E2E and CUI Project, Dow Chemical, Brazil. The project involved preparation of bid package for EPC contract for ethanol to ethylene conversion, chemicals, utilities and infrastructure; prepared datasheets for ASME pressure vessels (towers, reactors, spheres, dryers and filters), API

storage tanks, flare and cooling tower; performed design calculations and prepared inquiry packages for

long lead items (towers, reactors, and spheres).

Eclipse Project, ExxonMobil, Baytown, Texas. Designed/checked pressure vessels and tanks; worked as requisitioning engineer; prepared scopes of field work.

Capital Projects, BP, Texas City, Texas. Provided mechanical engineering support for Ultra Low sulfur Diesel Project and for Distillate Desulfurization Unit; performed engineering/requisitioning/vendor data checking and field engineering support; project included hydrogen compressor valve replacement and overhauling, acoustical and dynamic study and chemical cleaning of hydrogen piping system, reactors, tower and exchangers modifications; prepared inquiry package and bid tab for Flare system; provided mechanical engineering design, requisitioning and field support for Dissolved Oxygen Project (Wastewater Treatment); led the mechanical engineering support efforts for TAR packages and material requisitioning.

support for all the Refinery units. Prepared Design Packages. Performed FFS evaluations as perAPI 579

Aug 1997 – July 2001: PARSONS Project Group, Inc., Houston.

Worked as Principal MI and Reliability Engineer /Exp. Project Engineer for Lyondell-Citgo Refinery (LCR) - PARSONS Engineering Alliance. Provided Engineering Support to the Maintenance of LCR Delayed Coking Units, FCC unit, Sulfur Recovery Complex, and Oil Movement. Prepared Project Design Packages. For Refineries Restoration Project for Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Kuwait.

The Restoration work involved: Reconstruction, Repair and Overhaul of war damaged Refinery units and

1991 - DEC 1991: EBASCO SERVICES INC.

Worked as Lead Inspector performing PIPING SAFETY AUDIT for HESS Refinery (HOVIC) at St. Croix, US Virgin Islands and was responsible for the direct supervision of NDE & Q.C. Inspection personnel. As a working Lead Inspector performed and supervised walk-downs and detailed examinations for piping erosion/corrosion, proper piping support, mechanical correctness as well as

update and revision of existing piping plans, P&IDs and isometrics.
