Norman police department is dedicated in caring for citizens in the community, responding to emergency situations, providing public safety by maintaining order, protecting people, property, enforcing motor vehicle laws and promoting positive community partnerships. Other duties included identifying, pursuing, and arresting suspects and perpetrators of criminal acts. I have graduated from the Norman Police Academy Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training meeting all required standards and also receiving the overall fitness award out of Norman's 51st class. This was achieved by scoring over a 97% on every fitness exam given throughout the academy training window. During my time with the police department, I took part in building police partnerships with the Love Works Leadership after school program, and served as a mentor in the Norman Police Explorers Program. I received specialty training in Technical Investigations and crime scene photography for patrol, and served the agency as a Norman Police Academy fitness instructor.
