Design of Front Fender using CATIA V5, Skill-Lync
Based on the styling data of the fender, the mounting areas of the fender is determined and designed.
Designed the drip area, bumper-mounting area, Sill Mount, A- pillar, Baffle created for the fender.
Provided proper and required dimension based on the standard dimensions of the fender created at the drip area.
Proper embossing and ribs provided to increase the strength of the mountings.
Made a wheel arch area for the European standard and having knowledge on Japan and American Standard for fenders. Plastic Design using CATIA V5, Skill-Lync
Created tooling axis for the given A-class surface and created the B-class and C-class surface for the given non-parametric solid.
Completed draft analysis for the final component.
Remastered the blade using boolean operations.
Followed all the plastic modelling rules.
Surface body to solid body conversion with well structured model tree.
Taking into account of injection molding process and design for manufacturing and assembly. Design of Outer & Inner Panel of Hood Using CATIA, Skill-Lync
Design of the Inner and Outer panel as per the European Regulations.
The Inner Panels are created w.r.t the forces dissipated by frontal Crash and Pedestrian Safety by providing necessary Embossing and Reliefs.
Designed appropriate Hinge and Latch striker reinforcements and the Position of the Latch placed based on the Hinge axis.
Took into account of manufacturing process and incorporated necessary tool tolerance for Hemming requirements in the design.
Proper Mastic points given with radius of 80mm all over the hood, with which the mastic sealant would fix the outer panel and inner panel of the hood.
Also I have done SECTION MODULUS Calculations to get the Maximum and Minimum Moment of Inertia that the Hood can withstand and I have also increased the Moment of Inertia for the Hood. American Chopper – Design, Assembly and Rendering Using Solidworks, Skill-Lync
Designed all the Components of the Chopper like Engine, Chassis, Front fork etc.,
The Components are created by Bottom-Up approach where each component is modelled as per the standardized Dimensions and Criteria.
All the Components are assembled and additional features like Headlight, Side stand position, Decals for the Tanks, Material for each Component are added.
The Chopper is rendered for changing its position w.r.t the Ground, View of a chopper and the Final view of the Chopper is created.
Yacht- Design and Assemble Using Solidworks, Skill-Lync
Designed all the Components like Super structure, Hull, Radar etc.,
The Components are created using the Blueprint of the Yacht, where its dimensions are taken from the blueprint for each part, and most of the parts are created in Surface Modelling.
The Components are created by Bottom-Up approach and the parts are created in such a way to reduce its manufacturing steps and design procedures and Assembled.
