Mar 2018 – Present

direct Managed Print Service (dMPS) and partner Managed Print Service (pMPS) solution comprises of several Microservices developed in Node.js + Typescript with Serverless Framework and is hosted on AWS platform. For any business UI requirement Angular 6.0, HTML/CSS is used to build front-end. For any BI requirement, we use PowerBI or Looker to generate dashboards.

• NEXT-GEN USAGE SERVICE

· Usage Service monitors and reports printer usage based upon data collections by various data collection agents (DCA) for HP and Non-HP printers. It also creates a fulfilment need (FFN) for supplies/consumables when level goes below a defined threshold.

· Next-Gen Usage Service is architected using microservice concepts to scale and grow independently. Enhanced algorithm and computation logic implemented to bring the service efficiency and automatically fulfil the need for supplies/consumables on time.

· This is comprised of multiple microservices: Usage Service Request Handler, Transformation Service, Usage Computation Service, Fulfilment Service, Monitoring & Error Reporting Tools, Device Event Messaging, Reassign Device GUID Messaging, Fleet Preference Messaging and Data Provider Service.

• BIG-X MPS DEVICE MAPPER SERVICE

· This microservice is developed to solve one of the HP business problems and extend the HP Managed Print Services to Big-X partners.

· Big-X partner has its own Service Provider, Customers and Asset Identification in Jet Advantage Management. All the data Big-X are collecting come to Usage Service with their Service Provider, Customer and Printer ids, not the MPS one. To fulfil supplies/service need collection should be processed with MPS fleet Ids (SP, Customer, Device Ids) hence this microservice is introduced to map the MPS ids and re-process the usage collection.

• MPS FLEET PUBLISHER

· MPS Fleet Publisher microservice is responsible for monitoring the Customer preferences, fleet changes in MPS asset management systems like K2, SNOW and then propagating those changes into downstream sub-systems. This service is also involved in the process for new Customer creation and the migration of Customers and their fleet onto the respective systems.

· This is comprised of multiple microservices: MPS Fleet Publisher, Device Connect, Customer Events, Device Events, Fleet Preferences Events. This service also has APIs for the consumer to pull the certain information from MPS system.

• ENABLEMENT SERVICE

· Enablement microservice provides a common API to retrieve entitlement and asset information from various source system like PrintAtYourService (PAAS), HPDirectMPS (K2), SNOW, Device Connect, ES/OS, SAP Hana etc.

• INCIDENT SERVICE

· The Incident Service collects and stores various “Incident” events that are generated by the Managed Print Services eco systems including K2 Event Publisher, JAM Publisher, JAM, NRD Monitor, Usage Service, SDS etc. These incidents can then be retrieved through a REST API.

• DOPPLER – AN ONBOARDING SYSTEM FOR CLOUD ENABLED PRINTER(S)

· Doppler App onboards customer’s cloud enabled printers to HP MPS system without installing HP JAMC at the customer location using Doppler App, thus enabling the device to send printer replenishment data to the HP backend.

· This is comprised of the following: Doppler App, Doppler Service, WPP Service, HP ID, ES, IS, JAM Publisher, Device Control Center, JAM, vJAMC, Action Center and other ISV’s systems.

• PERCEPTRON

· Perceptron is a BI analytical platform handles the wide datasets and provides predictive insights to help improve the supply efficiency, delivery efficiency, fine tune thresholds, unwarranted toner shipment, profitability etc.

• PMPS USAGE DATA TRANSFORMATION SERVICE

· This service is responsible for transforming usage collection pushed from various PMPS data collectors and push the transformed data into usage service for usage computations and automatic toner replenishment.

• SUPPLY MAPPING SYSTEM

· Supply Mapping System a new application that allows for rules to be created that override current system defaults, that allows us to send a different type of consumables to the customer for specific devices and device types. This system is comprised of:

· SMS Administrative UI that allows the easy creation, viewing and reporting of rules in the SMS

(Supplies Mapping System) application.

· Supply Mapping Service which uses drools engine for rules application and override system defaults consumables.

• MPS AUTHORIZATION PLATFORM

· MPS Authorization platform is used for integration with HP authentication platform and provide authorization (RBAC) for various applications for backend calls and service to service integration. This solution is being built on AWS as a serverless module with APIGEE to support routing.

• K2-PUSH SERVICE

· K2-Push system is responsible for monitoring the MPS Asset Management System for certain changes and then propagating those changes to various MPS eco systems. K2-Push is also involved in the process for new Customer creation and the migration of Customers onto JAM.

· This is comprised of multiple microservices: K2 Event Publisher, JAM Publisher, Device Connect, JAM, Customer Events, Device Events and Fleet Preferences Events.
