Project 1: Fleet Management

Fleet Management from JDA Software helps shippers, carriers and transportation service providers more effectively manage the complexities of today's challenging delivery environment.

My responsibilities:

Created context-sensitive help, Administrative guide and Release notes.

Active member of the scrum team. Was responsible for breaking down of concept into user stories.

Responsible for conducting manual testing under the guidelines of senior QA engineer.

Project 2: Transportation and Logistics Management

Transportation Management and Logistics Management solutions from JDA Software effectively manage the entire closed-loop transportation process — from long-range strategies and operational planning to day-to-day execution.

My responsibilities:

Participate in Agile scrum teams and worked with cross-functional project teams that include Development, Software Quality Assurance, Usability, and Support.

Create and update Online help, Installation guide, Reference guides and Release notes.

Project 3: Make-To-Order

JDA Make-To-Order delivers a comprehensive plant operations and accounting system designed to improve throughput and customer satisfaction, while more tightly managing make-to-order production spending.

My responsibilities:

Develop multiple documents concurrently and collaborate with several development teams.

Track documentation progress and defects using JIRA.

Verify the accuracy of document content through direct or collaborative use of the software.

Project 4: System Administrator’s Guide of HYDRAstor Storage Device

Client: NEC-HCL

HYDRAstor is a scalable, secondary storage solution aimed at the enterprise market. The System Administrative Guide was migrated to a DITA compliant environment for content reuse. This would facilitate creation of multiple instances in the documentation set. This would help in maintaining the business process simple and would reduce the major cost to the organization in maintaining the business documents.

My responsibilities:

Created XML.

Created DITA map organizing the different topics.

Generated composite document in Framemaker and created PDF.

Project 5: Online help for Zoom MD

Client: Metasolutions

ZoomMD ePrescription system allows you to electronically send new prescriptions or refills to any pharmacy in the country. Features include medication history, formulary information, as well as checks for drug-drug, drug –allergy, and drug-disease interactions. ZoomMD eRx helps you obtain CMS eRx incentives and avoid Medicare penalties.

My responsibilities:

Interacted with the developers to understand the functionalities.

Created HTML help.

Created a demo for the application.

Project 6: Online help for Turbo Flow Client and TurboFlow Admin

Client: iMedx

TurboFlow Client is an innovative Internet-based dictation/transcription system that transcriptionists can use anywhere, anytime. TurboFlow Admin is a file monitoring and administrative application.

My responsibilities:

Created HTML help for the Turbo Flow Client and Turbo Flow Admin.

Worked closely with the US team to create document according to US standards.

Project 7: Administrator Guide for Web Application

Client: Agent Legal (USA)

The application monitor the searching of critical information resources, including subscription and non-subscription data sources, document and content management systems, email, internal data repositories, and the open web.

My responsibilities:

Created and delivered documentation sets to Agent Legal (USA).

Worked closely with the US team to compile the technical documentation.

Organized material and completed technical writing assignments related to the process according to standard templates and style guidelines.

Project 8: Installation Manual/Quick Reference Guide for Network Security Device

Client: Redshift Networks, California

The network security device protects large enterprises from the new generation of VoIP and Video-over-IP threats and attacks using High Performance Synchronous Flow Security technology.

My responsibilities:

Created Installation Manual for Network Security Device.

Created template.

Create technical illustrations for better understanding to the audience.

Project 9: Technical Manual for Controller

Client: Delta Electronics, Inc

This involves documenting various modules of installation in Controller. This document helps the user to install the software tool very easily.

My responsibilities:

Created technical documentation for modules like Installation, Working, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance and Servicing.

Created HTML help.

Project 10: Demo for Banking Application

Client: Vsoft

This was a unique project where it was required to create a demo which is a replica of the original application.

My responsibilities:

Created demo in captivate.

Edited each and every slide to give a real look to the demonstration.

Standard Operating Procedure is set of procedure used to perform a given operation.

My responsibilities:

Edited the Standard Operating Procedure according to given standard.
