I ensure the implementation of the Project HSE Management System plans, procedures and others specifications requirement in line with Total Nigeria HSE requirements.

I ensure expert advice, guidance and supports to staff on HSE matters, including clarification of HSE specifications, requirements and mitigation measures are provided.

It is my responsibility to ensure works procedures are review to ensure all aspects task are adequately considered and the works processes are safe with necessary safety measures in cooperated.

I ensure incident/accident management system, incident reporting, investigation, analysis and recommendations are implemented to forestall future reoccurrences

Plan and coordinate periodic company HSE audits on contractor / subcontractor; ensure timely issue of report is close out.

Establish weekly and monthly HSE reporting, ensure continuous and proper recording of HSE statistics for input into Client overall HSE statistics.

I Developing and implement weekly HSE training and continuously monitors the level of HSE training of staff and cascade Total Nigeria 12 Golden rules on site.

Prepare weekly/monthly EHS Updates on the activities of the company. Keep the company informed of EHS related incidents where staff can draw out some lessons.

Enforces disposal procedures of solid waste materials are implemented and handles the procedure for wastewater discharge to comply with Local Regulations on wastewater discharges.

Ensures the procedures for both in-house ad third party pest control and fumigation programs are effectively implemented

I ensure HSE information are communicate to entire workforce, visitors, stakeholder and interested parties through safety alerts, lesson learned, induction and safety tips, etc.

Developing and implementation duly authorizations and approved Permit to Work (PTW), Job Risk Assessments (JRA), Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Fire risk assessment systems in Eko Towers and lead implementation with Total Nigeria HSE representative.

Creating and executing studies to monitor and assess employees’ exposure to health risks, and to measure effectiveness of occupational health programs, policies and procedures.
