Technical validation: Reviewed, and held accountability of the corporate reserve bookings at PETRONAS the past 6 years. The development strategy was recently extended to 45 years with the LNG Canada development plan.

Extensive horizontal well knowledge across several plays, with the recent focus in the liquids-rich Montney in BC & AB. Prior experience in the Deep Basin liquids rich Notikewin & Falher, the Bakken oil play in North Dakota, the Duvernay play in Alberta, as well as the Eagle Ford in Texas.

Reservoir characterization and analysis. Complete understanding of the full well life cycle from geological concept, reservoir model, acquisition, drilling & completing, facilities, and production ops.

Studied the past 10 years of completions in unconventional plays and the hydraulic frac implications in recoverable reserves, and the economics in Capex, and LOS. WORK EXPERIENCE:

PETRONAS Canada (Calgary, AB) Mar 2013 – Nov 2019

SR Reservoir Engineer –BC Montney, & AB

Calculated, Categorized, and reconciled Canada’s reserves, contingent resources, and prospective resources totally over 90 TCF across the 900,000 acres. Ensured the corporate reporting was compliant with NI 51-101, & internal requirements similar to PRMS at PETRONAS.

Increased reserves & resources by over 10 times the initial booked volumes and was involved in team oriented modeling all full scale development scenarios for LNG Canada with pricing sensitives.

Analyzed over 600 producing Montney wells declines and compared the year-over-year performance analysis in type curves, was confident and identified the future locations that could be strategically developed to optimize the economics.

Projected capital requirements of more than $20 billion for long range development in LNG Canada, over 45 years, while adhering to the decision making annual capital constraints and economic hurdles.

Analyzed the competitor activity that would be the guidance in the development plans, and focused on the liquids-rich key acreages that had a proven track record for maximizing the profitability.

Studied parent/child well relationships and reviewed the prior 6 yearend reserve bookings to understand interference effects, and the well shut-in practices.

Conducted monthly capital expenditure reviews that were in excess of $10 MM/month with waterfall charts, and analyzed these expenditures vs. the annual forecasted budget, and the quarterly re- forecasts.

Supported the 3rd party evaluation of the Alberta light oil assets in Wapiti, Gold Creek and Karr, strategized in maximizing the asset value over $180 MM for the disposition to CNR. Shaun Tymchyshyn, P.Eng.
