PROJECT :

Worked on a Project : “PRESCRIPTION PATTERN OF DIABETES MELLITUS WITH COMORBID CONDITIONS”.

Study design: This is a “prospective observational study” conducted over a period of six months. Study is going to be conducted at a Medicine ward of AWARE GLOBAL HOSPITAL LB.NAGAR. Patients who admitted to the Medicine ward of the hospital and those visiting OPD during a six month period from October 2016 to March 2017 will be enrolled.

Study procedure : In this study the diabetic patients visiting the doctor are evaluated, diagnosed, prescribed with a suitable therapy by the endocrinologist. These respective prescriptions are taken and noted for the varied prescribing pattern of drugs for several diseases and infections, also including the patient’s demographics, reasons for admission, diagnosis, significant past medical history (if any), family history.
