Communication System Project Coordinator – Siemens WLL- Qatar Education City Tram Project Project Details: People Mover System (PMS) is the backbone of a free and convenient public transportation solution between key locations in Education City. The project includes the construction of 11Km long tram railway,4 stations and 20 stops. Project includes the following Main packages

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:
• Design coordination, provisioning and approvals for onshore and offshore drawings, method statements and other engineering documents as required.
• Prepared shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection test plans and reviewing the same from the subcontractor.
• Lead for the drawing workshop with Client for onshore and offshore drawings.
• Attended the site walk with suppliers & subcontractors to ensure and full fill the project requirements.
• Assisting the development of construction schedules and look ahead schedule.
• Liaising with local Authorities for the approvals of permits and routine site inspections.
• Coordinate with other lot for COM integration requirement.
• Coordinate with the installation team for the clashes identified in site.
• Supported the installation team for the RFIT submission and approval.
• Deal with variation orders including the cost and BOQpreparation.
• Prepared and maintained the procurement register and follow up with the vendors.

• Coordinated with Project Manager, clients, consultants and vendors etc for the ELV Design.
• Design Coordination of ICT /ELV Systems including Data Network, Data Centre, Voice Communication infrastructure, Wireless LAN, Security System, Fire Detection System, Audio Visual, BGM, IPTV, Nurse Call, Wireless Clock, Tetra, GSM., Public Pay Phone, Portal LED Screen, Electronic Way finding & Public Information And Containment & Cabling.
• Prepared Low-level Design Technical Documentation for ELV system.
• Prepared all Technical responses for all the ELV system to Clients input.
• Prepared Method statements for installation and Testing and commissioning.
• Attended and lead the team for Design meeting /Coordination workshop with Client, Consultant and Main Contractor.
