Project Assistant (MSRIT) at CABS, DRDO [Feb’19 to present]

Responsible for design and development of the Lightning Protection Quartz/Cynate based radome for LCA MK-II for AESA radar under the ASL DRDO.

Responsible to analyse the various electrical parameters such as resistivity, capacitance, permittivity etc. of different sample material to be used for designing the radome.

Responsible to carry out the lightning withstand test of the sample selected as radome design material.

Responsible for the preparation of the detailed technical reports in MS Word after the completion of the test based on observation observed on oscilloscopes.

Responsible for Aircraft LRU level indirect lightning test based on RTCA DO-160d/E/F/G standards, CS117 standards.

Detailed analysis of the graph observed in CRO using MSExcel.

Junior Research Fellow at CABS, DRDO. [Feb’17 to Feb’19]

Responsible for direct lightning test on OPGW and OFC cables used as transmission lines as well as for communication purpose for different customers of DRDO such as Sterlite, Apar Industries etc.

Responsible for analysing the effects of Direct Lightning test under military standards 1757 and Indirect Direct Lightning under RTCA-DO 160G by comparing the output with standards.

Responsible for EMI/EMC testing on the avionics LRUs such as cockpit recorder air data unit etc. designed and developed by different customers such as DEBEL DRDO, HAL Lucknow, HAL Hyderabad and other divisions of HAL etc.

Responsible for analysing the performance of generators based on calibration output done on weekly basis.

Responsible for report preparation after the completion of test based on observations observed during testing.

Dealing with the clients and preparing the test plan and schedule.

M.Tech Thesis:

Optimal Allocation of DGs to Improve the Distribution System Reliability based on loading Effect

•Optimal position of Distributed Generation has been found and placed in the 33-bus radial Distribution System to improve the reliability of the system by analyzing reliability index Average System Frequency Index (ASIFI).

•A probabilistic load flow has also been performed to include the effect of DG output uncertainty. Optimal placement of Photovoltaic cell and Wind Turbine is done using MATLAB simulation.

Summer Internship:

Bhilai Steel Plant- Vocational Training [May’11 to Jun’11]

•Power distribution theories to different units like Plate Mill, Rolling Mill, Blast Furnace has been applied.

•Completed a project on Power Saving mechanisms at these units.

•Learnt power distribution systems and mechanism for its efficient working at substation of Bhilai Steel Plant.

•Visited the gas power plant of BSP and learnt the mechanism of power supply.

•Learnt working principle and construction of DC motors, Induction motors and DC Generators practically.
