Responsibilities:
o Environmental data collection and analysis i.e. Air emissions, Water emissions, Emissions to land, resource use.
o Environmental Monitoring and Audits
o Ensure that fire and explosion risks at the service station during construction is mitigated. o Implement best practice for wetstock inventory control and ensure that personnel on sight understands the nature of wetstock and the risks involved. o Ensure that hydrocarbons or any hazardous substances do not leak into groundwater or the surrounding environment which may harm the community. o Ensure that emergency response plans during the project are well communicated to all personnel and workers on site.
o Ensure the handling of petrol when filling the reservoirs are according to safe work procedures. o Implement the control measures for the following main risks:

General Duties/Responsibilities
Deliver and monitor HSE plans which underpin the HSE strategy and support the achievement of the organization’s objectives.
A key participant in the divisional HSE Support Team by monitoring deployment of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP)

Champion the use of HSE IMS throughout the division and ensure the quality of information contained in these key systems is as required.
