INTERN, ADTRAN

I worked in the warehouse of the company assisting with organizing and distributing reels of machine parts to their designated locations. I learned the layout of their storage system and scanned in parts as I received them. I also would hand out parts to workers who requested them. One of my main duties was in counting how many parts were on reels and for that, I used an x-ray machine, along with a scanner and a few other devices. I utilized ADTRAN-specific software in accessing their network.

EDUCATION

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, sparkman high school

My GPA was always at or above 4.0. I served as secretary in the choir in the 9th grade and was in charge of keeping up with funding. In my 11th grade year one of my writings was recognized in the school literary magazine, and I was invited to a banquet where I presented said writings and was awarded for them. I was recognized as student of the month for diligence in my senior year after organizing a group study in my Physics II class.

ACTIVITIES

I personally have a passion for art and writing. I enjoy drawing and design and have studied basic color theory and composition in my pastime. I have also experimented with my writing and feel that I now have a strong grasp on language and can communicate my thoughts effectively. I have spent time practicing watching people and finding ways to better explain and understand the conversation, as well as find ways to better connect with them. Because of these things, I have been told I could explain things well when helping out peers in my classes.
