The Texoma Chapter of the ARC serves 1.9 million people in 8 north Texas counties. The Executive Director ensures that all resources are brought to bear in accomplishing the agency mission. This includes: recruiting board members, finding, training and engaging volunteers, fundraising, strategic planning, public relations, government relations, fleet and facilities and interacting with the media.

Boy Scouts of America District Director 2012 - 2017
Service area was composed of nine counties in South Central Oklahoma. The counties were urban, rural and suburban. Recorded growth in both units and membership when most of the country had declines. Hands-on involvement in all phases of Council operations, including formulating and building the annual budget, Annual Giving Campaign and both long term and short term strategic planning. Other personnel duties were to plan, organize, monitor, audit and evalute staff and program integrity, coordinate within the Council and with other agencies/community organization and businesses, provide staff development opportunities, and conduct staff meetings and conferences.

Boy Scouts of America – Chattanooga District Director 1999= 2004
Service area was composed of six counties and three Executives. The counties were urban, rural and suburban. The service area made up 73% of the Council’s membership and 74% of the Council’s units. Recorded tremendous growth in both, area units and membership between 1999 and 2004. Hands-on involvement in all phases of Council operations, including formulating and building the annual budget, conducting a Capital Campaign, Annual Giving Campaign and both long term and short term strategic planning. Other personnel duties were to plan, organize, monitor, audit and evalute staff and program integrity, coordinate within the Council and with other agencies/community organization and businesses, provided Staff Development opportunities, and conducted staff meetings and conferences.

Also serve as Aquatics Director for Cub day camps and resident camps. Revitalized scouting in the Longhorn District by creating esprit de corps among volunteers.

Successfully coordinated programs with adjacent Councils, including a Tri- Council Camporee with over 1400 participants. It was the largest single activity in the 75-year history of the Council. Trained and motivated Commissioners Staff, which resulted in an increase in Quality units and no dropped units. Served as Council Staff advisor for the Order of the Arrow, Council Camporee and Council High Adventure Staff Advisor. Greatly improved District relations with the council. Attended the National Training Center at Philmont. Started the first Explorer Cheerleading Contest, which resulted in six new posts. Received Chief Scout Executive Winner’s Circle in 1994 and 1995.
