INTERNSHIP:
HAL, Nasik from period 1st June to 28th June 2019 on project title “Design and Stress Analysis of BRACKET (PART OF LANDING GEAR).
Description: Bracket is the part of Landing Gears. The Brackets in Landing Gear are used for connecting different component of the airframe. Failure of the lug of bracket may lead to whole catastrophic failure of the whole structure. Thus, designing the proper structure of bracket is necessary.
So, during the internship period I have designed the model of bracket on the SOFTWARE Catia with the provided dimensions on AutoCAD. Then I have ported my model to Hypermesh for meshing it, after that I carried out its analysis on the SOFTWARE Patran. For checking further errors in it, I have used SOFTWARE NASTRAN. Hence, successfully designed and carried out Stress Analysis of the Bracket.
PROJECT DETAILS:
Mini Project: PROJECT title “working model of Ornithopter”.
Description: An Ornithopter is an aircraft that flies by flapping its wings. The basic idea of ornithopter has come into picture by taking inspiration of flapping wing flight of birds.
So, during the 3rd year of BE, I along with the group members have studied and made the working RC model of ornithopter, by designing the gear mechanism and using various parts starting from motor, servos to flapping wings, to make the complete working model of RC ornithopter. It could take vertical take-off and vertical landing which is one of the important and impressive feature of the ornithopter.
Mega project: Currently working on the project title “STUDY of RCS Estimation of the Stealth Aircraft”.
Description: RCS Stands for RADAR CROSS SECTION. To find out the signatures of stealth aircraft on the Radar, this topic belongs to the counter-stealth measures. The project is simulation on MATLAB, to get signatures of stealth in particular direction and to get the general results of how to get stealth signatures on the radar.
