Annex-A : Details of Projects handled as part of my IT Project Manager experience
Client: Synchrony Financials: Role: Client billed IT Project Manager - June.2017 onwards
Assigned projects will be driven by IT Project Manager by engaging stakeholders (via Plan view Work flow manager) to get clarity. Schedule Pre-estimation meeting, get estimates & financial plan [budget] approval and consequently proceed with build, test, deploy and handover as per plan prepared initially.
Project-1: Travel Notification Enhancements: 225 FTE effort; approx. Cost: 0.25 L US$
When a US based card holder travels within US out of his registered location, it is expected that he informs his travel plan to customer care, so that the card will be enabled and not blocked (for security reasons). Based on this information logged in Auto Notes, the card will be enabled and thus the High Value Customers do not face a rejection when transacting on the SYF Bank cards.
Project-2: Cease & Desist: 250 FTE effort; approx. Cost : 0.30 L US$
When a Customer requests the Bank not to call him, the bank should oblige. But often repeat calls are made by Client Service Rep to the cardholder, due to lack of recording the C&D from customer on the customer profile page. This project is to construct functionality to record a C&D request from customer on a particular number and at particular times. A new C&D icon is added to the Workstation Top navigation bar to be available & enabled all the time, across all sessions without any constraints on user profile / client resulting in enhanced UX.
Project-3: SAR Automation: 400 FTE effort; approx.Cost : 1.25 L US$
Legal compliance project necessitated as ‘Support Central’ is being replaced by ‘Service Now’ (web based tktg. tool).
Details: Fraud team’s manual consolidation of facts and preparation of ‘Suspicious Activity Reports’ from data of sources viz. ATM Cash Volume report, GRF Risk & Fraud workflows is automated and preserved in a Database. This project builds a Case Management tool (IBM ACM) for generating report for SAR number. 18 SAR forms that used to get generated by Fraud Investigators by raising Support Central tickets are replicated in USA DB [Mid Apps Suite] and access provided using IAM workflows to Fraud Investigators.
Project’s product: A single xml file or group of xml files in a batch will be enabled to be generated for daily individual & bulk SAR online filing to FINCEN (US Govt.) in regulatory compliance via Secured VPN connection to FINCEN. Alongside, a PDF file will be enabled for generation for repository purpose.
Project-4: Transaction Defect Auto Network : 180 FTE effort; appox. Cost : 0.40 L US$
MCC (Merchant Category Code) table updates can include/ exclude World Sale / internet transaction (contrary to in-store), as it is data-driven i.e.it enables new clients to be on-boarded by a Data Load, based on Rule engine. While processing a Promo Sale, based on profile, pop-up with business defined message to appear with Ok & Cancel buttons.
Business defined Messages: (a) for Backline CSR, a business defined message to appear with Ok & Cancel buttons enabled; upon checking ok, changes will be effected; (b) for Frontline CSR, a business defined message to appear with ok button only, upon clicking ok, changes will not be allowed.
