OTHER ERLEVANT EXPERIENCES
During the month of October 2016 I attended a Lecturer Work integrated learning program at Bid freight Port Operations, which was aiming to integrate the real work place and the TVET College’s curriculum for Transport and Logistics students, to make sure that what we teach in class is in line with what is happening in the real world of work, since the systems and technology is ever changing.
I had an opportunity to observe all operations of the company. I had a chance to interact with all fore mans and almost all Operations Managers and I went to see the operations of Rennies warehouse. I also attended three pre-plan meetings.
My good organizational and interpersonal skills mean that I can manage responsibilities well and function well in a team, as I have served as a secretary of ward 18 committee. I have also led in different structures and organizations holding a secretariat position. I am very passionate about helping others and seeing communities transformed.
