Job Responsibilities:
Worked in NDIA project at CP 63 HVAC systems installation, Firefighting system piping, water supply lines installation,
Responsible for the general follow up on HVAC related equipment on-board
Ensures general conformity of maintenance program according to Policies for PPM and CM as per frequency or HIA and Qatar airways.
Reports to the Method coordinator /scheduling problems, heavy maintenance operation schedule, thermography survey campaign, availability request of equipment for maintenance purpose;
Verify HVAC maintenance works are carried out in compliance with project specification, approved drawings and international standards and codes.
Verify bulk materials are certified and comply with project specification and applicable standards.
Ensure HVAC works are executed according to the approved project schedule and budget highlighting potential deviation and proposing suitable solutions;
Deliver structural engineering services that meet client, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
Perform structural engineering services such as:
identify and report changes to project scope;
assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules;
Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders;
contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions;
Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in structural engineering.
Communicate effectively with the structural engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
Develop, update, and issue, project HVAC equipment data sheets, material requisitions / purchase specifications, as required, to enable vendor purchase.
Ensure all HVAC main equipment is purchased in accordance with HVAC equipment material requisition, specification and data sheets.
Must be able to interface with project procurement, planning disciplines, and the client, and work under own initiative.
Attend, inspect, and provide closure report for HVAC equipment factory acceptance testing to enable factory release.
Review and provide comment on vendor documents to progress manufacture and release of equipment in compliance with project schedule.
There will be a requirement to interface with counterparts in India, HVAC engineers, with the potential to travel to India office location.
To maintain the technical integrity of the integrated Production systems - to ensure that maintenance of production facilities and equipment’s are effectively undertaken.
To ensure total asset integrity, reliability / availability is maintained and that work is executed in a safe and efficient manner.
Execute Field Maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance schedule / plan.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot abnormalities arising in the plant and oilfield equipment.
Execute all assigned work tasks in line with agreed plant operating philosophies, and in line with current Maintenance Craft Procedures and work practices.
Where applicable, provide input into the 90-day and 14-day planning cycles.
Report to Senior Maintenance engineer on status of daily activities and work progress.
Assist Senior Maintenance Technician to control and plan work activities.
Interface with other maintenance/service department staff to coordinate breakdown or routine maintenance work on facilities and plants.
Signatory for Permit to Work activities within area of responsibility as licensed and advised by Supervisor.
Maintain a high level of safety awareness and standards in all daily duties and tasks and guide the subordinate staff on safe working practices.
Daily monitoring of EPC contractor/supplier manpower and resource levels and advise construction management of any deficiencies in these areas.
Ensure that installations are in accordance with drawings, specifications, supplier requirements and applicable codes and standards and that any changes are properly managed and documented in accordance with project procedures.
Witness and acceptance of installation and functional test activities as required by inspection and test plans to provide owner assurance over mechanical completion and commissioning activities.
Maintain oversight of EPC Contractors materials storage and preservation activities to ensure storage/preservation is in accordance with project and manufacturers recommendations.
Raise Site Queries and Non-Conformance Reports in accordance with project procedures.
Participate in punch-out of systems as part of completions and hand-over process
Verify physical close-out of Site Queries, Non-Conformance Report and Punch Items.
Review Mechanical and System Completion documentation to ensure completeness (by discipline)
Field Maintenance Engineer
Ensure safe maintenance execution in compliance with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international std. and ensure the implementation of an efficient Maintenance Plan maximizing p-time and ensuring appropriate reporting
Lead a multi-discipline team (including discipline Supervisors and discipline Technical roles);
Ensure that company policy and Project Service Contract Technical SOW are cascaded, and targets are achieved;
Cooperate with the planning team and assign the daily activity to the discipline Maintenance Supervisors;
Coordinate the maintenance operations;
Check and validate technical reports;
Prepare maintenance reports to Maintenance Site Representative;
Report on the progress of maintenance operations and execute performance monitoring (KPI);

Piping Experience (Piping Fabrication & Erection)
Supervise the piping erection, fabrication and hydro testing activities.
Supervise the fabrication, installation, and erection of piping, pipe fittings, valves, and tie in connections on the main process pipe rack of the plant.
Pipe line fabrication, welding, Stringing, Lowering, Pre-padding, as per code API 1104
Supervision of Stringing and Excavation, Pin brazing, cathodic protection, trenching, Lowering, sand padding, and back filling of pipeline
Supervise the Pigging, hydro testing, windrow and Right of Way activities.
To review for compliance with Drawings, Specifications, Codes, Projects Specs such as Relevant National and International Codes(ASME, ANSI, NACE, ASTM, BS, AWS, API) and project specs.
Responsible for all documentation of site activities, progress reports, welding & fit up reports.
To support the piping engineering team, reporting initially to I/C piping.
Support field changes and re-routes, walk down and punching out of piping systems prior to H/T.
