1. Development of handheld Long Range Surface Plasmon Resonance (LRSPR) based Biosensors and Gas sensors.

2. Fabrication of thin Si based Solar cells incorporated with plasmonic metal nanoparticles.

3. Deposition of nanostructures using GLAD and oblique angle configuration for various applications.

4. Fabrication of TiO2 thin films for bolometer applications.

5. Deposition of high work function materials (Zr and W) for Pulsed travelling wave tubes uses molybdenum grids.

6. Working and handling knowledge in thin film deposition using physical deposition techniques like RF magnetron and diode sputtering, thermal evaporation, e-beam evaporation, pulsed laser deposition, Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition as well as chemical solution deposition techniques.

7. Handling and analysis of characterization techniques and instruments like X-Ray Diffraction, Raman Spectroscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Photoluminescence, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Fourier Transform Infra-red Spectroscopy, Potentiostat for CV measurements, Surface plasmon resonance setup, Micro-Syringe pump for Biosensing applications, Vector Network Analyzer, Solar Simulator, Thickness Profiler, Hall measurement setup and Semiconductor Characterization Unit (Keithley 4200).
