Summary

I am a good and dedicated team player with strong interest in financial industry. I am experienced in treasury industry and am familiar with various treasury products (FX Spot, derivatives and money market). I graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in Financial Engineering. After graduation I worked for over 2 years in Wing Lung Bank as a treasury FX spot dealer trainee in the first year and FX derivatives (Currency-linked deposits) dealer in the second year. Through its rotational training in money market desk for some months I have gained rich knowledge in managing day to day cash flow for all currencies and to manage liquidity and interest rates risk to ensure key indicators are in compliance with internal limits and regulations in the means of interbank borrowing and lending, forex swap and interest rates derivatives to ensure sufficient funding. And I have also learnt the importance of providing competitive rates to clients and devising strategies to maximize revenue in FX spot desk, derivatives desk, asset and liabilities profile in money market desk of the bank. In addition, my working experience in Wing Lung Bank further enriched my knowledges in management, doing administrative duties and providing good customer services. After that, I moved overseas with my relatives and family members for some period and in the year 2010 I decided to move back to Hong Kong. I resumed my working in Hong Kong after that and later in year 2012 I started working in the spot desk of treasury department of Wing Hang Bank(now called OCBC Wing Hang Bank). I was responsible for both FX and FX derivatives (Currency-linked deposits) dealing. Meanwhile, I would be on night shift when it was required and it enabled me to gain valuable experiences in New York time trading hours. These jobs all together further enriched my knowledge and experiences in FX spot, FX options, interest rate and money market areas.

I think that I am flexible with concentrating on urgent business, meaning setting priorities in work. In addition, I am an active and self motivated individual with an analytical, critical thinking mindset and with logical approach to challenges and strong sense of numeracy. I am a good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills and I can perform independently and effectively even in high pressure working environment. I like to learn new things and am confident to take them up well. I am a responsible person with high integrity person with positive working attitude. I have strong sense of compliance and risk control.

Through the working experiences in my previous and present works I learnt how to work in a team situation as a good team player and have built good interpersonal and communication skills. and co-operate closely with my colleagues as well as how to work independently. In addition, I was trained up as a detailed minded person with strong numerical sense and be self motivated. My interests and hobbies are rather well rounded. I like to gather with friends to swim and some senior ones to hike. Also I love to join with others to ride bicycles. In the past I loved BBQ (not now since want to reduce weight) and played Teakwood well. I also used to join different community services.
