·Operate locomotive and/or perform rail switching to separate inbound cars and spot for discharge.
·Perform LOTO of equipment to make sure it’s safe for maintenance to work on.
·Verify and make lineup changes to get material from one place to the next assuring proper lineup, proper flow, and pressure avoid over pressuring and creating unsafe condition and unwanted conditions.
·Put in work ticket to have repairs made and raise awareness around unsafe conditions

·Visually inspects all railcars involved with upcoming transfer ensuring they are mechanically sound and there are no defects in equipment before loading/unloading.
