CATEGORY MANAGER – ENGINE & TRANSMISSION MOUNT

Given responsibility for category strategy, supplier relationship management and inventory management. No direct reports, key relationships within operations, R&D and supply chain.

Key Achievements:

Delivered $5m savings in 2019 through rationalisation of supplier base, sourcing and selection of new suppliers and use of contracts.

Successfully led all major contract negotiations with multiple key suppliers.

Dramatically improved internal stakeholder through the development of joint category strategies.

Procurement spend under control increased from 50% to 70% in year period.
