WALMART TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM(WTMS)

Walmart Inc. is an American multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores. Headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, the company was founded by Sam Walton in 1962 and incorporated on October 31, 1969. It also owns and operates Sam's Club retail warehouses. As of October 31, 2017, Walmart has 11,703 stores and clubs in 28 countries, operating under 59 different names. The company operates under the name Walmart in the United States and Canada, as Walmart de México y Centroamérica in Mexico and Central America, as Asda in the United Kingdom, as the Seiyu Group in Japan, and as Best Price in India. It has wholly owned operations in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and Canada. WTMS deals with the transportation and logistics of the goods from the vendors to the Walmart distribution center or Walmart stores. Walmart owns the world’s largest number of private fleets.

SECURITY EVENT PROCESSING ACCELERATION USING GPGPU The project 'Security Event Processing Acceleration Using GPGPU' proposes to provide a proof of concept for building an FPGA based NIDS for high speed network environments. The proposed FPGA based NIDS would employ a lightweight snort detection engine to filter packets based on predefined rules over packet headers and payloads.

The prime objective of this project is to offload the high number of string or rule or pattern matching computation to GPGPU in any Inline Alerter system/Security Event Processing Acceleration system. The pattern matching over security event streams are done using new complex algorithms.

CRIME AND CRIMINAL TRACKING NETWORK & SYSTEMS (CCTNS) Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) is a plan scheme conceived in the light of experience of a non-plan scheme namely - Common Integrated Police Application (CIPA). CCTNS is a Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan of Govt of India. CCTNS aims at creating a comprehensive and integrated system for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of policing through adopting of principle of e-Governance and creation of a nationwide networking infrastructure for evolution of IT-enabled-state-of-the-art tracking system around 'Investigation of crime and detection of criminals'. Under the CCTNS Project, approx. 14,000 Police Stations throughout the country has been proposed to be automated beside 6000 higher offices in police hierarchy e.g. Circles, Sub-Divisions, Districts, Range, Zones, Police Headquarters, SCRBx including scientific and technical organizations having databases required for providing assistance and information for investigation and other purposes e.g. Finger Print Bureau, Forensic Labs etc.

SYSTEM MESSAGE IMPLEMENTATION FOR CMR

The Project “System Message Functionality Implementation” is a part of the system Confidential Morbidity Report (CMR) developed and maintained by Atlas Public Health, a division of Atlas Development Corporation. It will allow system administrators to define new system messages, and it will also allow any user to review any system message still on the system. CMR will check every minute to see if there are any new Instant Alerts to disclose to the current user. If so, the System Message form will be displayed with that new alert.

RURAL CAFE : WEB CONTENT ADAPTATION

Rural Cafe is research project in New York University and a prototype of it is being developed in AMRITA SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING, Amritapuri. It provides fast and efficient web search over intermittent and low bandwidth network by adapting the contents in the web pages to the available bandwidth and the required quality.
