University of Louisville Football Operations:

My name is Austin Erwin. By May of 2020 I will graduate with my bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. I will also have a minor in marketing. I am applying for this position in the football recruiting staff because of my aspirations and dreams to help build a successful football program.

I played football from the youth level all the way through high school. I have studied the game by watching film and learning from a former NFL scout. Since high school, I have made my best effort to prepare every year for the NFL Draft, as if I had a job in a front office. I watch tape, prepare scouting reports on players, and create a board of rankings. While all this research is simply for my own base of knowledge, I know I could transfer these same skills to the University of Louisville. I am willing to help with the recruiting operations in any way possible. I am willing to complete any administrative work, assist with game film, compile reports of players, set up recruiting visits, and do my part to help the football staff.

I want to continue to learn how to build football programs the right way. I believe Louisville would be an amazing opportunity for me.
