Business Development Executive

Develop and execute marketing strategy plans for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Turbine, Inc. (UAVT) and Honeycomb Company of America, Inc. (HCOA), guiding business development and marketing budgets, strategies, advertising, and tradeshows. Identify, initiate, and develop connections with vendors, negotiating contracts and establishing supplier relationships.

Key Accomplishments:

Completed a full marketing strategy plan for UAVT in record timeframe of only two months with minimal input, mapping out a marketing strategy and establishing contacts with military leadership that would potentially be the end-users of their micro-turbines.

Led the execution of HCOA’s marketing strategy plan, identifying contract opportunities with the military and with major original equipment manufacturers and initiating contact and relationship building with key decision makers.

Developed secure online knowledge management database, still in use, for the US Government with an investment of $75K, providing intuitive access to all available legislative data generated by Capitol Hill, granting top level decision makers access to vital data. Grew database users 25% and current user renewal rate to 95% with a return on investment of 33:1 or exceeding $2.5M.

Directed the capture management of new business identified in the asymmetric warfare functional area, winning $3M in contracts for countermeasure design concepts, training devices, multimedia development, system design/fabrication, and rapid prototyping.
