PRE-EXPENDED BRANCH NCOIC, USMC / MALS 39 Consumable management Division

I was tasked with running the warehouse branch which dealt with all aircraft parts ordered in bulk and stored at the squadron level (nuts, bolts, washers, etc). We were charged with maintaining, packing, transporting, and keeping inventory of said parts in a way which maximized squadron effectiveness.

OCTOBER 2010 – JUNE 2011

CONVOY AND TRANSPORT ESCORT (FAP), USMC /3rd MAG (Afghanistan)

Tasked, along with a team, with providing security to various supply transports, vehicle repairs, and troop pickups for multiple flight squadrons across both the Army and the Marine Corps.

JULY 2011 – SEPTEMBER 2012

LEGAL CHIEF, USMC /MALS 39

Responsible for drafting and executing all punitive paperwork for the squadron (1000 Marines). This included cases such as DUI’s, child abuse, fraud, assault, adultery, and drug related charges. Aside from punitive issues, we also handled all administrative separation paperwork and contractual obligations entered into by Marines within the squadron. Took part in over 70 cases. Worked alongside investigators from CID and NCIS, as well as multiple Southern California law enforcement agencies such as San Diego Police Department and the California Highway Patrol.

Responsible for working with USAF Security Forces to maintain the security of McGee Tyson Air Base and adjacent government facilities as well as assure the safety of the service members and civilian employees on base.
