Oyindamola Bidemi Yusuf is an accomplished university lecturer successful at teaching both graduate and undergraduate students with over ten years of professional, teaching and management experience. She is a consultant Biostatistician with experience in Nigeria working with the USAID-sponsored Local Partners for Orphans and Vulnerable children (LOPIN) projects across selected states in Nigeria and internationally, with the King Abdullah International Medical Research Center, Jeddah Saudi Arabia. She has worked in diverse areas of public health as well as maternal and child health mostly in Nigeria including leading surveys on infectious diseases of poverty (Malaria, TB, and HIV/AIDS), reproductive health and gender based violence. Her research has focused on the review of statistical methodology (generalized linear models) and its application to epidemiological studies. She has been involved in the design and data analysis of randomized controlled trials. Her interests extend to the quantitative aspects of Monitoring and Evaluation, especially as they are applied in resource poor settings. Dr Yusuf has a PhD in Medical Statistics and is a reviewer for several international peer review journals.
