Sinopec International Petroleum Company May 2016 – January, 2020 Health, Safety, Security and Environment Officer (HSSE) EPCC Gas Development Project for Ghana which entailed the construction of Gas Processing Plant, 58km offshore pipeline Raw Gas, 110km Onshore Sales Gas from Atuabo to Takoradi, 75km lateral pipeline from Esiama to Prestea, the construction of the LPG Loading Gantry as well as the Gas complex building.

In all these projects and as part of the team, I was tasked with these under listed duties:

Developed, reviewed and maintained records of all safety policies and procedures, Tasked Risk Assessment (TRA), Method Statement and Risk Assessment (MSRA), HAZOP, etc. for the completion of the projects.

Conducted induction and safety trainings related to work activities for new employees.

• Ensured that all instructions of the project operation, concerning work methods and the use of equipment are carried out safely and properly.

• Inspected and developed necessary actions in order to identify and correct hazardous conditions.

• Ensured that all protective and safety devices are in good condition and used correctly.

• Assisted and coordinated in incident investigation and root cause analysis in order to prevent future recurrence.

• Ensured and enforced the use of permit to work for all high risked jobs.
