Senior Software Engineer Lead (People Manager) 10/2018 - till Date Microsoft Corporation Redmond, WA

• As People Manager, built XBOX - XBET organization culture, Retained and Grow talent, by managing and mentoring, a team of 5+ engineers to deliver o Licensing project, that helped service Xbox 30-minute licenses continue to impact serious outages. The most recent outage during E3, being a wide-spread outage to Entitlement which ran across almost two days and would have dropped overall reliability down to 63.069% but 16M 30-minute licenses were issued keeping reliability up at 99.5%.

o Differential pricing, project that leverages data that we know about our customers and offers them a specialized price on a product that is personalized to them. A differential pricing offer is based on any user characteristic such as their purchase history, engagement level, user social graph, user device. Differential pricing applies to one product and is only shown to customers who fall within the criteria set for a given pricing rule. This will be helping Microsoft generate $50M during holiday periods. o Designed, developed 4 Azure Service Fabric micros services needed for Garrison App towards the E3 launch.

• Lead developer of the Customer Journey Portal (CJP) project at Microsoft. Developed the Angular-based front-end that allows consumers to comprehensively understand how Microsoft’s customers are navigating through the support ecosystem. This robust system enables consumers to effortlessly execute advanced data Analytics that can identify points of friction in the support ecosystem. Currently working on converting this portal to Customer Journey Platform (CJP), a the next-generation, highly scalable, exceptionally reliable distributed cloud platform using Microsoft Azure Service Fabric.

• Lead developer building MSaaS chat NRT tabular to replace legacy chat NRT and to provide combined data view of legacy CES and MSaaS Chat dataset with high data quality at near real- time latency (30 mins or less). With this, we have also successfully removed MSEG dependency on VRP/URP portal which is a current platform to publish reports. This help saving $7M / year for Microsoft.

• Instrumental in getting organization azure spend under control, worked with various software and service engineering teams recommending project architecture changes and how they should use azure which enabled to cut down team’s azure spend by $.5M for FY-15 and $2.5M for FY-16.

• Worked closely with other groups across the Windows organization to synchronize and leverage test resources so that the overall cost of testing was significantly reduced. Focused on improving Page 3 of 5

• Deployment on the Go- Implemented an automated end to end one click deployment which includes scope script, XFlow, SQlizer, SQL and tabular using release manager. This paved a way for faster shipping with greater reliability and confidence of stable deployment. This led to reducing the deployment time from average 2 hours to 5 min with no human intervention. Additionally, enabled sign-off for prod deployments using pre-deployment approvals with automated notifications to ensure collaboration and release visibility among team members.

• Led 3 developers to build MSEG Triad KPI dashboard and tabular model, showing 33 KPIs across MSEG feature team which enable teams to evaluate every single investment they are making the impact it will have on one of MSEG KPIs. This dashboard was show rolling 4-month metrics for each KPI by default and users could use the tabular model to build custom report/dashboard for a larger data range.
