Project including the construction of Express highway and underpass for Qatar public works dept
(ASGAL).The project cost is 1.2 billion QR it includes construction of underpass all kinds of utilities,Asphalt pavings,Back filling,Micro tunneling,etc.
Duties and responsibilities:
Site monitoring and control of all kinds of construction activities include earth work,utilities,
Concrete,asphalt,microtunnelling,and underpass construction activities.
Raise work inspections according to the ITP and get approval from consultant.
Review Project specification and find out right material criteria for the project.
Co-ordinate with mechanical and electrical activities and get clearance.
Daily site monitoring and find out the non-conformance activities and take necessary
corrective actions.
Make sure that all construction activities are done according to the approved method statement
Co-Ordination with consultant and carry out necessary inspections as perapproved
inspection and test plan.
Provide awareness on specifications, internal procedures and regulations to construction staff, sub-contractors or visitors in order to prevent and/or handle discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain accurate and up to date quality documentation in order to ensure the traceability of all activities and events

RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBLIGATIONS:
Conduct continuous and final inspect on-site activities with regards to the Inspection Testing Plan and make sure all relevant procedures, requirements, specifications and regulations are well implemented.
Inspect and verify materials/resources for final clearance and provide guidelines for their special storage and use.
Check on specifications, conditions (maintenance and calibration) and proper use of needed materials/tools/equipments prior to their use in order to ensure conformity to applicable relevant requirements.
Identify problems and discrepancies, coordinate with the concerned party to find out the root cause and the most adequate solution to solve them, escalate the set solution to Quality engineer/supervisor for validation.
Coordinate with the client’s inspector in order to ensure the clearance of executed activities.
