Recent Remote Vehicle Project Fall ’19 – Spring ‘20 Projects Computer Vision/Raspberry Pi Application – C++/OpenCV Part of a 10+ person team from various engineering backgrounds (Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science), our task is to modify custom masonry equipment to be piloted remotely. For my part, I am completely in charge of the computer vision portion of the vehicle being modified. Using C++/OpenCV I have implemented real-time video monitoring/filtering/and edge detection to better help operators (as well as the machine itself) detect faults in masonry work. I also drew up the software architecture being used as well as consulted on hardware needed for networking the machine to make it remote.

Unity Racing Game – Time Racers Fall ‘19

3D Unity Application – C#

Built a racing game from the ground up using the Unity editor application. This included everything from building the scene, implementing various gameplay events, and designing opponent racer AI. Racer AI behavior included everything from following the track, finding the track when AI has gone off track, avoiding collisions, and braking/acceleration behavior. The game also had third party actors such as moving obstacles, environmental obstacles, and navmesh agents with colliders.
