IT Project Management – Windows Platform Upgrade and Windows Migration WDS – New York City experience migrating and upgrading Windows Platform from Windows 7 and 8 to Windows 10 for users laptops, desktops and front retail machines (around 90 units). In order that, the office has being migrated from on premises to Cloud O365. This project was looking to improve the company IT Standards governance and news compliance for security, performance and licensing. In addition, some on premise servers has being migrated from WS2008 R2 and WS2012 R2 to WS2016 R2. Other services like backup and storage was migrated to Cloud. Those actions forced us to redesign and rebuild the all AD GPO with new services directory compliances. The nest step of this project was delivered VDM for remote users implementing a new standard of remote access to the company infrastructure (Dry tests, not implemented). Moreover, the front retail system was also migrated from on premises to cloud services (Windows based migration implementation services integration).
