Apprenticeship Trainee in Aerodynamics division, Aeronautical Development Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organization (Dec 2016 –Dec 2017) PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

Project on Design and analysis of “Magneto-plasma-dynamic Thruster with Propellant Variations”. Project on “Conceptual study of transparent Aircraft”, which is the future project of Airbus Company. Studied the aerodynamics of a Flying wing UAV.

Modeling and CFD analysis of various airfoil sections of a Flying Wing configuration using FLUENT and of the complete 3D CAD model. Modeling and CFD analysis also carried out using different Vortex Lattice and Vortex Panel Codes via MSES, XFLR and AVL. The study was carried out to estimate the overall aerodynamic coefficients, control derivatives and ground effect. Estimation of hinge moment coefficient derivatives for trailing edge controls at subsonic speeds, estimation of effect of spoilers on overall aerodynamic coefficients and estimation of landing gear drag for the same configuration using ESDU datasheets.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Qualified gate 2018 with a score of 414 in Aerospace engineering. Fifth rank in Aeronautical engineering from Calicut University. COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE
