Involved in design/drawing development of Gearboxes and gearing items . specialization in design of Gearboxes and gearing items, I have very long experience of gear design . I have designed gearboxes from few kg to 56 tons by wt. .

Design work included gear design calculations, tooth profile calculation, bearing selection, preparation of assembly/detail manufacturing drawings . The drawings included, material, heat treatment requirements, machining and welding requirements, fits and tolerances, gear cutting table, geometrical dimensioning and other technical requirements .

Checking of design/drawing of assly/detail drawings, calculations etc done by other designers .

Design work included spur gear, helical gear, internal gears, bevel gear, spiral bevel gear, worm gear, planetary gear, girth gear, rack and pinion, gear coupling,straight and involute splines etc .

These included profile correction requirement due to lower no of teeth, fixed centre distance .

These included reverse engineering of gearing items .

These included material selection w.r.t. tooth root bending stress, tooth surface stress and life .

These included close co ordination with gear cutting technology department and gear manufacturing shop, fabrication shop all located in same campus,

Quality control and inspection department deptt., marketing deptt., purchase deptt. Site erecton and commissioning .

Well versed with Auto Cad, MS office .

Designed gearboxes and gearing items were used in various steel plant eqpt, cement plant eqpt., mining eqpt, EOT cranes upto 450 Ton capacity and other Eqpt..
