Experience as a supervisor with work experience in managing and executing sanitation and QA programs and processes.
Worked in multiple settings to include; all levels of senior living, large and small (hot and cold) commercial kitchens, manufacturing-warehouses and strict state department of corrections, environments
Complete understanding of Federal, State, County and Company regulations
Managed HACCP programs, inspections/audits, organic and kosher certification, can be obtained.
Full organoleptic senses to evaluate and make quality food service decisions
Bilingual – English/Spanish
Teacher of chemistry and biology
Proficient in the State of Florida Food Service regulatory computer programs
Competent with manual QA/QC activities forms, willing to learn your system
Experience with Microsoft Office
Computer skills for Food Science, Regulatory and Company specific
Florida clean driving record. Can obtain other state Driver’s License.
Available to Travel, be on call or flex schedule as needed

Job Responsibility Details
Food Safety
Implement and manage the sanitation programs, checking for (ir)regulations and enforcing corrections to requirements; advising management on necessary actions
Ensured Planta Habana Company and Pepsi Cola’s, compliance of food safety laws, regulatory standards and those standards as stated in the Meat and Beverage company processing policies.
Provide support in compliance for in-house HACCP Plans for Helio Company, Aramark Co, Brookdale and St Mark’s.
Quality Control
Responsible for total quality of processing meats and Pepsi products from company to the consumer
Ensuring that all food and meals are prepared with quality food preparation and delivery, from kitchen to resident
Manage product testing laboratory; supplies available, properly working equipment, staff availability and education
Supervise the appropriate microbiological, organoleptic testing on raw materials and finished products
Ensures that finished goods are sampled and tested against appropriate internal and external standards
Attend all meetings to ensure consistent communication from resident to employees.
Training and Development
Follow all company safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and processes as well as assist with the communication, training, and enforcement of these
Provide leadership by example with staff on Regulations, Quality Control and Customer service
Keep good communication with all team members, staying in a positive and encourage high-quality work ethic
Responsible for participating in monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual QA/QC performance reviews. Suggest continuous improvement plans
Compliance
Comply with all aspects of the food and health industry and QA team; Complete understanding of Federal, State, County and Company regulations, and any other processes, established by the company always working consistently in a safe manor
