Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages parts operations within the suppliers to maximize return on investment through ensure all incoming parts are checked for conformity and price and return any non-conforming or damaged part with credit request or insurance claim.

Maintain all part codes and associated barcodes for parts.

Control purchase and ordering procedures to maintain department profitability.

Develops and maintains effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

Responsible for achieving the budget, growth and profitability of the division.

Ensure that Brilliant Mechanical Workshop has the parts and spares it requires on hand in stock.

Submits all parts warranty and return claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit.

Establish and maintain a balanced inventory and proper stock levels that ensures customer’s needs are met.

Identify fast vs slow movers and maintain appropriate stock levels of each.

Ensure security and accuracy of stock levels through conducts a perpetual/annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories.

Provides back up for the Shift Supervisor in the event of his non availability (prolonged or brief) in matters of coordination with the Scheduler, the Warehouse Manager and Ops Cell.

Monitors the warehousemen activities minutely and ensures capture of time taken and staff involved per transaction and SKU as the case may be provides detailed report on this to the Shift Supervisor on the TOS.

Ensures preventive maintenance is undertaken on the MHE’s under his purview.
