Summary of experiences
I began my working career as a printer for SA GUAGE where I learnt to apply my technical skills in a working environment. Later moved on to POPULAUR TRADING were my managerial and sales skills was initiated. Whilst in the SA NAVY I served numerous units, on-board war vessels as qualified as an engine room attended and electrical artisan in which I sailed on many missions, I was later drafted to a post in our Fleet Maintains Unit which is much needed of my services of expertise to work on various units, war ships as well war submarines. In 2014-2015 part of project CANTEENA (the building of the Navy’s latest tug boats), 2016-2017 the SAS GALESHEWE under when an unscheduled (emergency) refit after an unforeseen fire incident that took place in its forward engine room of which I successfully repaired defective electrical systems and equipment. In November 2017 I have been appointed as Naval Base Simons Town assistant OHAS Officer.
I am looking for a challenging career in electrical engineering whereby be further empowered for my skills and knowledge to be utilized. I believe in ensuring matters related to relevant engineering discipline meets customer requirements and complies with standards and statutory requirements to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Company; not only to the advantage of the Company and customers but also for the benefit of the employees.
