PhD Thesis title : Molecular dynamics simulation of the flow of molecules and ions in carbon nanotorus in the presence of rotating electric fields (Computational Nanochemistry). Summary of PhD Project: Different nanotorus with various diameters have been generated using Fortran coding and filled with some water molecules and also an ion. With the aid of the GROMACS package and after the modification of the electric field subroutine of the software to include rotating electric fields, different simulations have been conducted on the systems in the presence of rotating electric fields with different strengths and frequencies. Different quantities such as the flow of molecules and their orientations, velocity, RDF, Coulomb energy, etc. have been investigated.
