PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A.Accounting
1.Oversee / direct the Accounting Department and ensure that proper internal control and funds management are implemented at all times, required reports are submitted accurately and on-time.
2.Review/analyze the monthly reports of financial statements of the company, provide highlights with respect to profits, compliance with budget prior to submission to the VP-Admin & Finance/MIS
3.Prepare the confidential payroll of the company.
4.Prepare all the reports needed in the Board of Directors and Stockholders’ meeting, consult with the VP-Admin & Finance/MIS on important matters that need to be reported like declaration of dividend, major investments, change of board of directors, etc. Act as the coordinator on all matters related to the meeting.
5. Prepare/revise the semestral business plan of the company.
6.Coordinate with all department heads for the business plan requirement of the company and advise improvement on areas of concern.
7. Handle the initial negotiation with banks for the opening of credit facilities and develop good relationship/communication system for quick updates on banking situation.
8.Communicate/discuss with the external auditors the year-end audit and other accounting activities/concerns that need their opinion/judgment.
9.Coordinate/discuss with MELCO Head Office and Himeji Works, Accounting Department the schedules and reports required regularly and from time to time.
10.In-charge in the annual Self-Audit requirement of MELCO.
11.Over-all in-charge in the smooth operation of MELCO CDGIS.
12.Handle the final negotiation of fees and all matters related to external audit of the company
B.MIS
1.Oversee MIS Department and ensure that company-wide systems and hardware requirements are attended on-time in a proper manner.
2.Direct the IT securities and control that are in compliance with the government rules and regulations, as well as with MELCO rules on information security system management.
C.IMPEX
1.Oversee the function of IMPEX Section and ensure that all the company’s import and export operations arrived and delivered on time and in accordance with the government policies and regulations as well as, with the local and international rules and processes.

14.Payroll administration including year-end alpha list preparation and 2316 (W.-2).
15.Maintain fixed assets records and organize physical count of assets on an annual schedule.
16.Ensure that adequate insurance coverage is maintained for all company’s assets.
17.Ensure that all local reports (SSS, PHIC, HDMF, SEC and PEZA) and tax matters (BIR) are being submitted and payments were remitted on time.
18.Prepares guidelines/procedures and supervise annual physical inventory.
19.Review and inform the Finance Director on current tax law and regulations and act as coordinator with external tax, audit, legal and government bodies.
