Employment History
Drummond & Company – A technology services company focused on delivery of trading and risk management solutions established in 2003.
Founder and Principle / Systems Architect / Senior Business Analyst
Below are a small sampling of the more recent projects I directed or supported:
Client: Citadel, a 32 billion-dollar hedge fund – Greenwich, CT (Aug 2019- Nov 2019)
Position: Business Analyst – NatGas, Power, Renewable Energy Certificates (Rec’s), Weather, Market and Political data.
Project: Internal optimization – Client’s IT system allowed easy access to a suite of analytic and modeling tools and reports. Any system user could add their version of these tools and reports to create new data while simultaneously sharing them across the organization. This resulted in an unmanageable number of available data inputs that made it difficult for other users to find what they were searching for.
In this role I:
-Analyzed tool usage, met with business owners and ultimately identified and removed 50% of available options, thereby streamlining users’ ability to search for relevant data.
-Created an automated process to maintain clean data through monthly purges of redundant and obsolete tools and data.
-Added additional “#Tags” to make finding a set of tools easier.
-Created a number of training videos on new and current features of the system.
Client: EDF, a 5.7 million dollar energy trading organization – Houston, TX (July 2018 – April 2019)
Position: Business Analyst – NatGas, Power, Rec’s
Project: OpenLink-Endur – v16.1 implementation
In this role I:
-Created interface and report writing capability to and from Endur and client’s internal systems.
-Used Java and Tableau to create dashboards to report real-time Profit and Loss (PNL) and Risk for the head of NatGas trading.
-Developed a multi-threaded process that reduced the processing time from hours (2h.35m) to minutes (7m) and became the template for using other processes to run the GRID.
Client: Navigant, an American management consultancy firm – New York, New York (April 2018 - July 2018
Position: Business Analyst – Trade Surveillance Compliance Project.
As a result of inquiries from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Drummond and Company partnered with Navigant, and a large international trade and finance company, to design and implement a trade surveillance framework for their metals trading business.
In this role I:
-provided guidance and support regarding implementation of the new surveillance framework.
-Systems impacted by the surveillance framework included “Brady Trinity” for trade capture and reporting and “TT” by Trading Technology for exchange trades.
-Assisting in on-boarding Trading Technology’s “Score,” a third-party surveillance software.
-Developed custom reports & interfaces to supplement the Score system.
Client: Maersk, is a Danish business conglomerate with activities in the transport, logistics and energy sectors – Copenhagen Denmark (July 2017 – December 2017)
Position: System Architect – Project: Implement OpenLink Findur for the Corporate Treasury Department.
In this role I managed the technical team for the subcontracting firm Sirius Solutions. In addition, I was liaison to the primary consulting firm to Maersk. This role was especially challenging in that I was hired for the role after the original team leads were dismissed during system testing that had not gone well. It was a highly volatile situation as no written specifications had been prepared, thereby making it impossible to understand exactly what had gone on before my arrival.
Client: Black Hill Energy – Omaha, NE (May 2014 – December 2104)

Commodities: Natural Gas, Crude
Project: OpenLink-Endur – v12.3 implementation
