Project Details:

1.“Forecasting of Stock Prices for Johnson and Johnson using ARIMA Model in Minitab”.

Roles: Forecasting and Analysis Duration: 4 Months

Description: As the daily stock prices is Time Series data, So, The Statistical Model applied on this project is ARIMA Model for analyzing and forecasting Time Series data. After applying the model and forecasting, the actual and predicted values were compared and their graph showed minimum variation among the actual and predicted values. Also, the MAPE value is calculated which was less than its range (i.e. <10) which shows that the fitted model is the good fit model for this time series data. This project was done using MINITAB Software.

2.“Analyzing Different Factors Affecting the Compressive strength of Concrete using Multiple Linear Regression Model in R”.

Roles: Programming and Analysis Duration: 4 Months

Description: The data for this project contains 8 independent variables from which how many variables are significant for predicting the compressive strength of concrete is to be checked. The Statistical Model applied on this project is Multiple Linear Regression Model for analyzing different factors affecting the compressive strength of concrete. After applying the model on Training set and comparing the predicted values with Test set with the help of visualization graphs, it was found that 6 out of 8 independent variables are significant and have R2 value of 0.62 which shows that the model is good fit. This project was done using R programing in R Software.
